I like portraits that are more than just a pretty picture. Portraits that say something about the individual are way more fun. I start with a photo and a good conversation about their likes and dislikes. During the selection process we’ll have that A Ha! moment and chuckle. Then we know we’re on to something. I scan the images, painting on the photo and mixing or collaging the image together to create a ” new masterpiece”.
